Celebrate AWM's First Anniversary

Celebrate AWM's first anniversary on May 16, along with the birthday of legendary writer, reporter and broadcaster Studs Terkel by sharing your Studs Stories with volunteers from the Studs Terkel Radio Archive. Record them or type them up on our Story of the Day typewriters.

You can also make your own American Lit mixtape with the Studs Terkel Radio Archive. Choose from programs featuring the greatest American authors of the 20th century, from Saul Bellow to Gwendolyn Brooks, and mix audio clips to create a new literary work. 

12- 2 pm: Volunteers available to collect your stories

10-5 pm: Make your mixtape in Readers Hall
