60 years ago, "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac was released to the public, defining a generation and movement in literature and culture. To celebrate the anniversary of its publication by Viking Press, the Museum is holding a reception on September 29th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

 

Come to the museum on Friday, September 29th to celebrate 60 years of "On the Road." See the scroll, mingle with artists, poets and musicians inspired by the beat movement while exploring the museum's interactive displays that celebrate American writers. Admission is free (donations to the museum gratefully accepted) but attendance is limited. Please RSVP by September 26th
